There is such a satisfaction that I feel when I create a beautiful card for someone.  It shows them that they are important to you because you've taken the time to sit down and make something specifically for them!  The thing I love about cardmaking is that both a more advanced card and a simple card can be just as beautiful.  So don't think that your cards have to look like you've spent a week on them.  There are so many great ideas for simple cards out there.  I've uploaded a photo of some cards I've done.  The card in the middle took me a little longer than the other two did, mainly because I did lots of inking and sanding and cutting little squares, etc.  I'll write more later, stay tuned...)
